Day 13 – Just chillin' in the 101 degree heat

Took a side trip to Snow Valley Canyon – just to the northeast of St George. More beautiful red rock formations and more petro glyphs , only these were from the emigrants coming cross this country in the late 1800’s. Would you rather have a name and a date or a story etched in the stone. I’d choose the latter.

Tomorrow we head for Zion Park and three days of camping, followed by three days of camping at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Should be fun!

Best thing today – getting a haircut to cope with this desert heat and hopefully the slabs ‘o ribs in the over will turn out
Challenge for the day – I keep getting hives sleeping on the sheets here at the WM. I must be allergic to their laundry detergent……
